Watt Electric

How much on average does a 1500 watt electric heater cost to operate?

I use a 1500 watt Comfort Zone electric heater to heat my garage in the winter for short periods of time. I am wondering how to calculate the electricity cost per hour to operate the heater?

1kw=1000watts
elctricity is sold by the kilowatt.
ure using 1.5 kw/hr so if u pay $.10 for a kw, your heater costs $.15/hr on high setting.
u can get “kill-a-watt” meter from radio shack for $25. great!
