Acoustic Chorus

Can I play the “When You Were Young” riff on an acoustic?

I’ve got the chords down, but I really want to learn the riff that plays in between the chorus “when you” and “were young”. I’ve got an acoustic, and I’m not sure how to do it so it’s not so high up the neck. Can anyone help in any way?

You can try, but the difference between acoustic and electric is the sound it makes. Usually electrics make riffs sound miles better. If you get the riff, try http://www.chordie.com/ to get them, you can try it, but there’s no guarantees that it will sound right.
