True Vibrato
on a fender mustang, is it true that the vibrato bar makes the guitar go out of tune a lot .?
this is a question for people that know their fenders… if this is tru, can you please giv me some suggestions . i have heard you can bolt it down but how will that affect the string replacement and the look? -p.s. this is a reissued stang
Using a better quality string helps a lot of it. Do not skimp on strings as they will detune (and break) quickly with time anyway…sooner that you wish. My Strat has a different setup than you Mustang, but it all works the same. The vibrato stretches the strings and cheap strings just do not last very long and detune real easy.
