I would like to add a cable jack?
about 20 feet from where I have one now. Can I splice into the existing cable line with some type of junction and then wire a new jack? Thanks.

Yes, go to the Source, Radio Shack, or some place like that for help.

You’ll want to ask about a thing called a splitter. Also, ask about the new jack, there are in wall kinds, and surface mount ones. They also have the cable and the connectors and the tools.
