3 month old and head control/ muscle tone?

Okay, kinda weird question, but i’m so curious. i have a 3 1/2 month old who has had good head control since she was a little less than 2 months old. she’s so strong and when you pick her up, you can feel her muscles working as she moves her arms and legs.

but my sil has a 3 month old and i swear this baby feels like a sack of sand. she is just now starting to control her head a tiny bit, but she’s so limp its actually strange to hold her sometimes. she just lays limp in your arms. i can’t tell whether this is normal, or whether my daughter is just really well-toned, or whether both are common. thanks for any experience with this.

both are common. Depends on the babys personality and the way the parents play with the baby. If they baby the baby a lot then it doesnt have as much chance to gain muscle as fast. Its not bad just different. Just be proud how strong your little girl is
